Preventing a Hostile Takeover (Click here to view program) was produced for the International Joint Commission and the Great Lakes Fishery Commission. This short program advocates the building of an electrical barrier in the canal between the Mississippi River basin and the Great Lakes, with the purpose of preventing the introduction of Asian Carp into the Great Lakes environment.

Return of the King (Click here for proposal) is a proposal for a one hour television documentary on the reintroduction of native fishes in the Great Lakes. The program will focus on the current efforts to rehabilitate the lake sturgeon population and its impact on the future of the Great Lakes. Ravenswood Media is seeking funds for this important documentary and welcomes inquiries from interested parties.

El Capitan (Click here to view promo) The documentary follows Jacek Czyz, a world-renowned climber, as he pushes a new route up the face of El Capitan. Principal photography has been completed. Director Jacek Lupina parallels Czyz' dedication to climbing with his job as a fine carpenter living in Chicago's vibrant Polish community.

This program chronicles how an ecological disaster brought disparate groups together to battle future invasions with innovative ballast technology. The documentary demonstrates how ballast works and how it is a vector for the spread of exotic species and pathogens. The solutions found for preventing future ballast infestations in the Great Lakes have been adopted to prevent infestations in ports around the world.

Understanding Biodiversity (Click here to view segment) follows a team of scientists into the Venezuelan rainforest as they search for clues to explain the evolutionary forces that produced the region's incredible diversity of birds and fishes. The expedition, a collaboration between the Field Museum and the University of Caracas, travels by dugout through the roadless regions of the Orinoco Basin, eventually reaching Angel Falls. This remote area is dotted with huge mesas towering thousands of feet above the forest; these mesas are some of the oldest geological features on the face of the Earth. Spectacular aerial and underwater photography captures the beauty of this incredible region.
